A Healing Service is not necessarily a service of curing. There is nothing magical about a healing service. Healing Services are not meant to replace medical or psychological care which are truly God's gifts to us. Rather, the clergyperson serves as a channel of God's love and grace in the midst of sickness, pain, or separation from God, family, or friends.


The ultimate healing is the reconciliation of a person with God. Through that relationship physical healing sometimes occurs, spiritual health is revived, and relationships can heal. Healing services can be done individually or in the presence and with the participation of invited guests.
